Avatar
Yep, this movie should’ve won Best Picture, granted there were quite a few good movies that came out in 09, but Avatar really topped them all. It not only expanded what we can expect to see from movies going into the future, but it also showed how a great story and an awesome imagination can take us all on an adventure that is truly one of a kind. I’ll be the first to say that I was skeptical when the first images were shown of what Pandora and it’s inhabitants looked like, but I should’ve trusted James Cameron and his amazing vision. It’s truly an epic to behold.

You know that a movie is good when Sta’s comes out saying, “where’s my Dragon!?!, I want to ride a Dragon!?!?” Sta’s my friend, your day will come. Some day, you too will own your very own dragon and soar through the skies…
What am I saying, no you won’t. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they don’t exist buddy.
Aside from that, the movie was pretty good, but Rotten Tomatoes has it at a 98% fresh rating…which is wrong. Sorry but I don’t see why everyone apparently ”loves” this movie. I would say it doesn’t compare to the likes of Kung-Fu Panda, Wall-E or Up by a long shot.

Let me start by saying I’ve not seen the original Clash of the Titans from the 80′s. I would like to but have yet to find the time – therefore I figured I’d go ahead and review Clash of the Titans from 2010 as if the other never existed. So if everyone would like to pretend that the other didn’t exist too then we can proceed with this review of Greek Mythology told as if they had taken some pointers from the newest installation of God of War. Though I have to say I have more fun playing God of War 3 than I did watching this film. Kratos is just that much of a bad ass.
